This was a demo I'd done of the Kali when I got it, same FX setup except the second amp isn't in there(no mimiq), and was only using delay.
The Mimiq makes Things pretty big
I really should do a whole setup vid sometime.
I should actually explain my setup because I think it's kind of nifty and was planned quite carefully.
Main point, I mostly use the monitors and IRs.
Guitar goes to tuner, then a buffered isolated splitter, output A goes onto the main board, and B feeds the 2 noise gates which are 3CM'd to the...
I've heard it lots of times by now.
I didn't Know what people were talking about years ago, then I either looked it up, or came across him by mistake in news or something.
I'm in the UK, so it went over my head for a few years.
Nope, Fred, his cousin ?
Took me a good few years, but got there In the end.
Tried to cover most bases for sure. Everything was carefully chosen.
Did you see the post on wiring it up? ?
I was super lucky with that one.. body is date stamped Dec 96 in the neck pocket, SN: listed Jan 97, very early, offset saddle trem, Just a beautiful quilt on it.
Gotta be a trans amber quilt. Beautiful designed guitar
The SLO is a grail amp, but if you asked me to choose, I really don't Think it would win..
Fancy some Sort of Mark Series to round out the amps, someday.
Mimiq Is great!
Dry out goes to one amp, wet goes to another, 1 voice, and (these days) I kinda vary between 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock on the tightness knob.
The Bacchus Is great, it's my go to 80% of the time. I did change the HB for a model from a local UK builder.
Edit:
Might as well put an explanation of the setup here because I think it's kind of nifty and was planned quite carefully.

I think I came across with the Harmony Central Exodus (my last post was 2010) then got too busy with work to actually be playing. Not sure I had much of a rig to talk about at that stage.
I now have more of a rig, comparatively, than I did.
Hey everyone.
Anyone shed any light on this for me?
I'm having an amp put together, and the the lovely gent building it gave me some suggestions for power tubes after i asked him what he might use. the options were
NOS EL34's of some description
new production winged C EL34's
new production Gold Lion KT77's...
Hello guys, really interested in friedman amps, but finding info on the range is hard, if there even is a range given the highend nature of the amps.
Can anyone fill me in on the models, basis for sounds etc etc?
cheers in advance
Or the alternative guitar heroes
The guys who have the technical ability but chose to move away from the traditional shredding route
To my mind billy corgan. the guy can play, he can even shred, but he's eschews that in favour of textural playing which people sometimes don't rate but requires...
Came across these guys a while back and am looking to have something built. Anyone own one? played one? any thoughts or comments much appreciated

Right, this is a poll i ran last year on HC. for the most part it went down well, but few metal fanboys decided to be assholes about it. saying that it was great fun deconstructing their stupid arguments and failure to read the original post and in general a good time was had by all.
The Poll...
