This happened with my Caliber 50+ as well in the fx Loop. The TC Alter Ego V2 has no issue, but an Ibanez Analog mini delay also sounded extra muffled.
According to Mesa there's no fix for that... It seems like a level or impedance mismatch.
Sure, but I wouldn't want to give up such an awesome crunch/med gain Marshall-esque channel because the clean channel in a 3-channel amp is not to my liking...
Well, I consider Chuggamuffin a heathen for seemingly ignoring my contribution. ?? I even kept my shred-noodlin' to a minimum. ?
But yeah, Heathen, early Flotsam, Atrophy, Forbidden, Paradox, Artillery... Some of those influences probably shine through.
For sure. One of the original POD 2.0 amp models was based on the X88R, IIRC... "Line 6 Modern High gain" amp model, that was featured in the 2.0 and X3, but not in the XT...
I made many miles on a Digitech Genesis 3 and a Boss GT-3 from around 1998 up to 2005, and got my Savage 60 around that...
Well...speaking of beans... :p
guitar is my ESP Horizon NT-II with a Duncan SH-14 Custom 5 in the bridge.
But yeah, tones are all my heavily tweaked Pod X3 patches, where I used some EQ tricks from Glenn Delaune, as I was quite involved in the X3 patch community 15 years ago or so.

Thanks man. Yeah, a big fan of flamenco, 60's surf and phrygian dominant scale...so I combined those and made a little nod to Marty's break in Holy Wars.
Ok, I've shortened the track considerably (and with no real editing tools, the ending is kinda abrupt), I figured, I rather have something up now than keep tweaking ad nauseum....
Please keep in mind, this is my first time with a DAW in ~20 years, I have no controller, just a mouse.... ?
Same here.
I loved the rhythm channel and its sheer versatility, but the clean was too Hiwatt for me, and not enough blackface Fender...
Another thing I didn't like about it, was how it reacted through my Two Notes Torpedo Live; other amps sounded pretty much the same through it as through a...
Damn dude, I was already in the middle of doing some Phrygian dominant shit for my Wolfmoon and then you show up with this.... o_O:mad:?
(Nice track tho'. ? )
Tell me you never listened to Megadeth - Rust In Peace without telling me you never listened to.... ?
Or Dark Angel - Time Does Not Heal
Or Annihilator - Alice in Hell
Or Toxik - Think This
or....
About as one dimensional and devoid of finesse as Steely Dan, Toto and Abba combined.
Absolutely. I get good mileage out of my Engl Ironball as a lunchbox amp, late at night noodling, quick riff tests etc, but the V:25 is such a more diverse, allround machine...the things the Engl does better is the placement of the loop, easier to set up and the sound of the (digital) reverb.
Boyfriend?! ?
Dude, Dan is one of my RT thrash-brothers.
Are you so inbred trailer trash that family bonds and romantic relationships are one and the same to you? o_O That's some next level Alabama shit right there.
(No offense to actual kind folk from Alabama that are not their own damn...
No, it's around page 19 in the thread (now in OT) where I was genuinely asking Kyle if eh...he gave in to selling out basically.
I actually put in some work today to get my first (free) DAW running since almost 20 years (back when I hooked up my Alesis QS7 synth to Cubase 3.7 or something...
