I think the always amazing Other Jon Browne's video captures it super well. As soon as I hear the 2000 v30 it sounds much better to me. Totally just a matter of taste/amp/etc though.

I need to try mine a bit more, but I found them a bit too dark compared to my fave early 2000s ones (and the new ones are 16 ohm rather than 8). Not a bad sound, just side by side I preferred the slightly crisper older ones.
