I was going to order a Stone Age 212C with the three piece removable back. However, I noticed if I buy a used Bogner OS212 I can still have Bogner send me the two panels to make it a semi open back! Does anyone know about the internal bracing or sound posts? Do they connect to the back removable...

Some may differ and both are incredible but if I have both in my MOD...it is hard to tell which is which if I tweak them out the same. My SL2 has the tight mod....not the 'x'.

Anyone have any good samples of Plexi tones through the 20th Shiva? I love the Plexi tones I get with the Mod 50 module SL and wonder what in the Shiva gets close.

Listening to clips it seems the older Bogner XTC 101B EL34 series do this as well or better than most. Unfortunaly playing many of these amps is unrealistic because most places do not carry....been listening to Carol Anns, Diezel Einsteins, CAA ODs....but always come back to liking the Ecstacy...

I hear the TOL is essentially what the Egnater EG3/4 is modelled after? If so...I wonder why most find the EG3/4 too dark for anything other than smokey leads...when the TOL seemed popular for all sortys of music, rhythm and lead!
