I'm surprised he got the 78/79 package to sound so good going into the front end of that Yamaha THR10 because the captures were already made with 4x12's with mic'd speakers. I don't think you can bypass the cabs on the 78/79 package. Whatever he did is sounded pretty good for a live amp setup...

I totally do believe it............and the Wizards was/were used to layer with his Randall tones on top in the studio which alot of producers and engineers do. You are making the argument that Dime's main core tone were the Wizard amps and I and many others that have owned or own Randall...
