Same with how I dial amps in - unless the amp is a dud, it’s gonna be close if the EQ sculpting does what EQ controls do. Each amp will have its own inherent tone and nuances but I dial the amps in based on what I like to hear. The MTL Mk2 is probably top 5 amps I’ve played maybe top 2-3.
Just needs to be said that even though many have problems and delays with these booteek (:ROFLMAO:) builders; and I've had my share of long lead times, terrible communication, getting ghosted, etc from various manufacturers - Wizard always meets or exceeds my expectations.

The Uberschall Ultra is a good amp that's in the same ballpark for heavy crushing tones like the Hell Razor - although different feel, there's loads of tone shaping and fun as hell to play.
the bright knob on the back will add top end kerrang if you need a little extra. the sweep, treble, presence when set higher will tear your face off - at least that's what @RedB4Black does when he dials his in.
Dialing in an amp for live mix and playing in the house are totally different. Recording the amp live or in studio (buddy tours in a major band and is using one in the studio - he’s got loads of amps at his disposal) the iconic is just fine.
