I miss the days where we didn't have to pay the tax when purchasing from Sweetwater (and some other online stores).
If I didn't have to pay the 10.25% tax where I live then the temporary price of the JVM would definitely tempt me a lot more :)
I have the PS-100 and I have used it with every one of my amps (quite a few) and they all sound great through the PS-100.
I feel it makes the amps sound great to a lot better due to the additional tone tweaking options on the PS-100.
I would have majorly regretted selling it last year when I...
It really does look amazing!!
Well, I am on vacation next week and I was trying to plan a trip somewhere nice for the whole week and then you post this picture.
A few questions here:
1) What is the closest airport to you?
2) Can you pick me up at the airport?
The FX8 MKII is perfect for anyone wanting to keep their pedal board area down to a manageable size.
The effects are stellar on the FX8 and the Fractal Editor makes it easy to set up MANY different presets pretty quickly.
I have two of them myself.
And yes @tallcoolone , one of these units...
If I had a basement then I would probably start going down a similar path ?
We had talked about moving out of state in the not-to-far-off-future since everything in California just keeps going up and I want to get a place with a basement so a place with a basement is a must-have for me
I am a believer that the Ultra has a special place for recording tracks as well.
I think it might have even saved my marriage since I was purchasing Diezel after Diezel amp just to get a different recorded amp tone and I was having to really crank the amps to get that Diezel sound that everyone...
Well, I had purchased two of each of them over time.
I would sell the original ones (or give them away) after I would come across a new one still sealed in the box (usually from someone that purchased two of them and never used the second one), and put it away for some future recordings since I...
Seriously, they just sit in their boxes these days.
I'll use the XL+ here and there for the effects and a clean preset for my KSR Ares using the 4CM method.
Also, I should mention that I always purchase two of everything so I did have two boxes of each one stacked but I finally gave away or...
You made a good call with selling it right before the next one came out.
I purchased the Ultra, then the next month they came out with the AXE FX II.

It's funny that you just said what I was remembering when I came across your reply.
I had sold the 5-6 Diezel amps that I had owned right after buying my Ultra around 2010 since it was able to get me a really cool recorded amp tone without having to crank the amp in another room and record it...
I had lived in Claremont for several years (about 4 blocks away from where he was giving guitar lessons) and not too far away from Oxford Avenue.
I think that I'll have to look around for that Deli Creeps demo since this talk is bringing back some memories.
The Deli Creeps shows were at the...
There were some pretty good ones for free floating around that were from Leon Todd.
He sent me them to me a long time ago but I wasn't able to find them for you (he deleted them from the shared drive).
There are a few places like Fremen's website where he did provide some for free but then he...
He hails from my area and I have several friends that went to high school with him plus he received lessons at a local "mom and pop" store from a guitar teacher that helped some other friends get to this level.
He ended up becoming a guitar teacher there as well.
I remember him from his early...
