I've been thinking about adding a Marshall to my rig for Iron Maiden style tones, but I'm lost as far as all the different models and such. I'm not going to be buying one anytime soon, but I'd just like to see what some of you guys think is the best Marshall for those kind of tones. JCM800...

Just wondering what you guys think about locking tuners like Sperzels. Do they really hold tune that much better than something like Grovers?

Since I had to sell my TAT and get a cheaper guitar, I got lucky and scored this Explorer for $700. Got to play it through my 5150 for a bit, and it sounds great. Nice huge tone with a great crunch from the 500T, and the 496R is really smooth sounding in the neck. Definitely one of my favorite...
