Decided to check out some of their stuff since I've been wanting one of the DeMartini Charvel guitars. I really like Dancin' Undercover and Detonator. Awesome tone on those albums too. I guess Out Of The Cellar and Invasion Of Your Privacy are supposed to be their "best" albums but I don't seem...
I know it's a long shot, but does anyone happen to have one of these that they would want to sell? Or any similar type of Strat, one pickup, maple fretboard, Floyd, etc?
Ok, so I get my OD9 Pro Plus yesterday, hooked it up, turned on my amp...and it sounds absolutely terrible. I have the pedal set to the 9V setting, tried both normal and boost modes, and had the standard drive 0, volume 10, tone 4-5 settings. Compared to my OD808 it sounded like it was barely...
There's no need for them if your guitar has a locking nut, unless you want to save a few minutes on string changes. I guess they work a little bit better than regular tuners for fixed bridge guitars, but they don't even begin to compare with a Floyd + locking nut IMO.
Just got this last night. Only got to play it for about 15-20 minutes though, because I have the flu and feel like shit. :aww:
I tried it with my Ninja V and I was really impressed with it. Tons of crunch and a nice smooth tone. I was afraid the Greenbacks might not sound too good in...
I've been considering finding a place that would be able to replicate the Caparison clock inlays and put them on the blank maple fretboard on my Horus. Anyone know of a place that would be able to do that? They would have to be able to pull them off perfectly for me to even think about it...
So what did you guys think were the best albums this year? Here's my top 10...
1. The Absence - Riders Of The Plague
2. Grimmark - Grimmark
3. Arch Enemy - Rise Of The Tyrant
4. Glyder - Playground For Life
5. Raintime - Flies and Lies
6. The Shotgun Suicides - A Glorious Tragedy
7. Soilwork -...
Fresh from the land of the rising sun...
But which Caparison could it be?
I think that clears things up!
I can't take any outdoor pics right now since the ground is covered in snow at the moment. Hopefully that clears up soon. I got to play it through my 5150 for a couple hours...
Caparison just released this limited edition Horus HGS in Japan and I couldn't pass it up. They've only made a couple of them so far and probably won't make too many more either. First production Caparison model ever made with a maple fretboard.

I'll consider any trades of equal value. Just let me know if you have anything to offer. Guitars, amps, whatever.
