How can I get rid of some compression on my VH4? I've been using my strat with low output single coils, and it works great, but still...is there a preamp tube that'll help with that?

I need to get this amp to Dominican Republic and I have to pay close to 300 dollars EXTRA to pay shipping cost and customs fees. This sucks. I'm not so sure if I can get it now. My only hope is if the Spanish dealer gets one before Sept. 15th then I can take it with me to D.R.

I've always liked the modular concept, I'd really like to own a nice Egnater MOD50 or a Randall MTS, but they're a bit expensive for what I want. I just want a little powerful amp to play with modules and practice/record, play some clubs. can the RM20 do this? is there enough power ?
