I wonder what you would get if you wired it into a piezo preamp?
I saw that Chris Poland was one of your artist. You should overpay him to bring his rack and four cabs and some heavy chords to film a youtube video. Loomis too.
Nice rack and guitars ZEN Amps. That's how I'm going to do mine. Was going to go with Hercules arms but I like the String Swings like yours.
Are they 16" apart?
Did you plug it in at let it rip? I think it will sound really good.
I've been geeking out on my rack too. I had a sucessful experiment with a cheap 8" full range speaker on bass. On guitar it was ok.
Each company is different. Most of the free ones you could just copy the .dll file from the VSTPlugins folder and you're good. Others you log in to your account on their website. Or they have an authorization program to install on your computer like IK or Waves. Or the iLok thing. So far I don't...
What DAW? In Reaper you have to enable inputs in options first. In the track select your module or midi input, arm the rack to record, and enable monitoring. Make sure the track output is assigned to the main out 1/2.
Sometimes you need to change midi note assignments or load a drum map...
A few of my older friends insist that Schenker is the best. Because of the crazy lead tone and bend phrasing. An earlier version of what Friedman did on Rust in Peace.
The Alesis module probably has the midi out on the usb. Just run a long usb cord into the computer. If not, midi out of the module to midi in on the interface with the standard 5-pin DIN connectors.
Lynch said in a recent interview that he was putting together an old klunker rack with an MP-1 and Quadraverb and several other from that era.
Purpleibby, that is sweet! Those Switchblades are nice.
That dude in the videos, Jim, nails all the details down to the .0010".
Yes, it was believed to be stock PAF at the 1st record then swapped and rewound after that. A low output pickup into a crazy Marshall can be perfect and a heavy swamp ash body will help in that venture.
I think this gadget will do what you are looking for. This guy is cool and has a great reputation.

I have been to NAMM at least 20 times. We always have a blast. 3 beers in by noon on a Friday. Talk to the dudes that designed the gear. Booth performances from a bunch of great artist and most likely a free all star concert that night.
Two of my friends have been using them for a really long time. They have tube power amps and a bunch of cabinets. Both run in stereo and use a lot of the onboard effects.
Maybe try some pedals in front.
My bassman broke at a jam one time. The drummer had an ugly ass 2x12 Crate combo and a Behringer rack effects unit. Slayed. We had a great jam. I thought I was hot shit with my finely tuned 50 watter and old 4x12. Somebody could have come in and whooped my ass with that thing.
I didn't know that about maple in the pancake. I think maple is the key ingredient to some of those exceptional LPC's. They felt and sounded more solid with a very powerful attack. No comparison the workbench guitar. While I dig and accept what his videos show. There are levels of badassery...
