Which power tubes do you guys recommend for best possible tone for my 96 TOV head? will use it mostly for high gain applications....has mesa 430's in it now but i suspect they are the stock tubes :rock:

So i received a guitar from ebay(jackson C. Olde Wolbers 6)and it has a repair all around the headstock. Got it for 375$ but it was listed as like new condition....guy says they did not notice the repair(they are resellers), so what do you guys recommend, should i get a partial refund? If so how...

A guy on ss.org posted about small cracks on the bottom of all his rft 12ax7 tubes....so after checking mine it seems it also has some...now i dont want to pull out the ones i have installed in other amps since they might break...can you guys tell me if these cracks are normal on these tubes, or...

I noticed my power tubes increase a bit in their glow when i hit heavy palm mutes on lower strings....i guess its the current increase for handling low frequencies? Or should i worry?? Amp is peavey ultra + ,power tubes winged c 6L6

What can u guys tell me about this head???? Good for high gain?

got it for $170.....speakers are not stock, grill isn't either.....faceplate has some bending and fading.Tubes are all RCA and westinghouse in power section.....Now the bad news is that it has very low volume....what could be the culprit? Do you guys think it was a good deal after all? :scared:

If i disconnect the combo :rock: speakers,and use the external speaker jack only....will the output be 30 watts @ 8 ohms? I think i read that somewhere...does anybody know for sure?
