Just started listening to it so we'll see if it hooks me like the first album; impressive that he's plays and sings everything.
I like his drumming a lot, the kick sounds great in the mix.
I needed a backup to my Charvel Ash GG model and didn't want to fork over that much $$$ so I bought a scratch and dent dk24 to mod (refin, new pickups, new tuners, etc). Does it play as effortlessly as the custom shop GG? Hell no, but for the money I have in it it's a solid guitar.
A lot of...
Awesome, they really do help on dark stages
It’s silly how much I love these things...although pretty soon my old eyes are going to need giant Jason Becker style inlays in luminlay.
.
if buying used, any from the reputable builders will work...I’m really happy with my Sl67, I use the variac feature most of the time.
a good attenuator is a must though...I use a ps2.
I have a couple port city os 2x12s.
It’s been so long since I’ve played thru a 4x12, but I remembering being happy when I got them compared to my old 4x12 with green backs. I downsized to a 2x12 when I joined my current band..
Currently my gigging cab has neo creambacks (light!) with an Fm3...
I'm thrilled with my SL67 and PS2...played a Friedman Marsha for years (which was great) but the NMV feel is where it's at for me.
Need to try a 100w version to see what I'm missing :)
I've been gigging a DK24 2pt for several years now and it's been great, total workhorse. Funny, I put a heavy blues 2 in the neck as well...perfect with a bridge bucker and no noise at gigs!
I‘ve been using Port City Os 2x12s for probably ten years now, great cabs...it replaced a 4x12 and I was happy with the change, but it’s been that long since I’ve played a 4x12.
ive got one at home with a pair of m75s for my plexi. My main gigging cab has a pair of neo creambacks...amazingly...
Like new G12M Greenback for sale, 25 watt, 16 ohm...it probably only has about 4 hours of play time.
