OK...What Amps Do You NEVER Regret Selling?

I've heard nothing but great things about the Savage series and the Blackmore ENGLs. (y)

OK...What Amps Do You NEVER Regret Selling?

ENGL Powerball- I owned an original ENGL SE EL34 that I really liked but the Powerball just didn't do anything for me. I had it for almost a year and bought it brand new from DerekB at Rock Solid Amps. Not trying to be offensive but it sounded like I plugged into a bar of plastic and wax...

NAD! Amplified Nation Ampliphonix & Gain - VIDEO ADDED

I haven't had GAS for amps for several years but have to admit that this is the only amp I have been thinking about. I would love to try one someday. I am into combo amps at this point and this would be a great one.

    Some history of Rig-Talk

Always switching between the Bogner XTC or Peavey 5150 claiming either was the best depending on when he owned at the time.

Dylana at 3rd Power Amps to build Satriani his next amp for the tour

It is amazing! I had my Kitchen Sink combo built in mid to late-2018 and took delivery in early 2019. It has been my main gigging amp ever since. I have never experienced more compliments from soundguys and other musicians on my live tone since I have used this amp. It takes pedals very well...

Dylana at 3rd Power Amps to build Satriani his next amp for the tour

I've owned my 3rd Power Kitchen Sink since 2019. My favorite amp I've ever owned. Does everything I ever wanted.

What gear are you planning to buy in 2024?

I'm interested in that too. Could be the perfect backup rig if my amp ever went out. Sounds great! Other than that..the only thing I want to get is more ink on my arm.

    Easily gigable Combo amps

My 3rd Power Kitchen Sink combo is a 1x12 and it is killer. The Hybrid Master Volume is perfect for playing gigs and at home. 40w but plenty loud to keep up with my hard hitting drummer. Pricey but totally worth it!

    MT100 Clips

I bought a 3rd Power Kitchen Sink combo back in mid-2018 and received it in March 2019. It has been my main amp ever since. Absolutely love it!!

    New modeler day

I'm with this approach. I have been playing an Axe III or FM9 at home since 2019. I have never started playing with any deep parameters or constant IR changes. If I don't like the way it is going I just move on to the next preset. I have a couple of great IRs I use that seem to give me what I...

I'll tighten it up and add the vocals back in once I am ready to put the video together. I should have it posted by the weekend. Thanks for checking it out all!

Man, Haven't Played Metal In A While (Clip)

I used to be a big metal guy up until about 12 years ago when I started mellowing out with my band (and just getting old). My stamina for this kind of playing has certainly faded but it has been fun to get these chops going again. I started a cover of A Life Once Lost - Vulture and thought I...

    Mark VII vs IV

I sold my IIC+ as I felt that my Mark IV was every bit as good and more versatile. I sold my IV hoping the V would be what it was and more. I received one of the very first Vs and I was so disappointed. It sounded nothing like my IV and it had a really buzzy/fuzzy tone. I worked with it for...
