Imagine “Angel of Death” with Sykes!! I love Snowy, but that song could have benefited from Sykes aggression. Renegade had its moments.

I’ll be the odd man out and say I much prefer his playing and tone on Lizzy’s Thunder and Lightning to this Whitesnake stuff. Great guitar player, no doubt. I love early Whitesnake before Coverdale decided to change his style.

I’m pretty sure that Holdsworth was the only “endorser” who actually played any of the amps they are seen with here. He was a Huge boogie guy for a while. I love these old ads. I remember quite a few, but some are surprising.

Circa 1989….. This cheap “Charvette” was all I could afford. I had great amps though. This guitar plays and actually sounds killer. Old 80’s Duncan JB. I painted it at some point, but still have it.

I LOVE that color. Really unique with that trem carve. I’ve had my share of PRS and I enjoyed most of them.

Not ashamed to admit I’ve never heard a single song by these guys. I just never got deep into thrash. They sound great. Some talent in this band for sure. Amazed that the rehearsal footage sounds that clear. Sounds like the audio is coming off the camera?

It’s a 76. I refretted it so it could be played. The original frets were so low it was incredible. I assume it was white when new, but the faded yellow it is now is perfect.

It’s fucking annoying for those that have been here and done that. Part of being relevant is being current. There is a reason threads die. People here don’t “ report to the mods”. You’ve got this place confused with other gear forums.

If your going into debt buying guitar gear, your doing life wrong. I’ve been there. Certainly not saying I’m better than anyone, but the best thing you can do to improve your life and your finances are to pay off ALL your debt and keep it that way. You’ll sleep better. Trust me.
