They're "re-issuing" them. ;) Maybe you won't understand what the dfuss is all about until you've played a couple. They're pretty awesome guitars from a fit/feel/playability standpoint. Mine is certainly a favorite to play. Don't really care what it looks like TBH.

Had the same guitar, and it was quite nice. Had a JS that I sold a few years back, and a Sunburst "standard style". The Standard was the best sounding and playing of the bunch. HNGD!

I had a couple LTD's that were "full thickness" - I think was the MIK 1000-series CTM version? 22 frets, double bound, full thickness... Anyway, they were great playing/sounding guitars. Felt great too. But of course, that's all subjective. ;)

11R wasn't a bad unit. I had one at a couple points in life. Fractal kinda killed it, along with their product development team - that was non-existent. That said, I liked Headrush too, so maybe I'm deaf...

I think you did the right thing. If you're going to be spending $$$ coming up on $2K when all is said and done, I think it oughtta "WOW" you right out of the gates. If it doesn't, I think you gotta move on. And like you said - Chubtone would be more than happy to make you something superior! ;)

I’d agree - I’m not a DT or JP fan. Their music and his playing exhaust me. Too much math going on…almost pointless and borderline noodling… That said, JP *does* have a good ear for tone.

I should also ask, is there a list of the “likely” amp models that are in the NDSP plug-ins out there? I’ve found a few “I think” lists, but nothing really “official”.
