This is what concerns me that something was/is wrong with the amp. Everything I’ve read and heard suggest it should really be comparable to the G/C modded recto, and it wasn’t close, not even in the same ballpark. My hopes was that it would be and I could finally get that amp with a great clean.
Yep, and also tried zero presence and adjusted treble to taste. At any point the fizz went away the amp was to wooly to be used. I have owned a Roadster, three channel g and a rectoverb before the current revision g/c I own now, so I have had a good deal of experience with rectos before. This...
Yeah his communication is worse than it used to be which is why I turned to the forum to see if there was any knew news. It’s a shame. He honestly makes some incredible pickups
This is what makes me really curious. All the ones I’ve watched demos of are not as well and sound amazing. This one was extremely fizzy in comparison to my G/C recto. Enough so to really put us off. What year model is yours?
So I had a chance to play a 2011 Mesa mulitwatt against my revision g two channel rectifier that has been modded to revision C specs. All of the videos of the mulitwatt are beyond impressive and sound great, however in person I was not impressed at all with this mulitwatt. It was very bright and...

Well, I figured it was time for a thread on any information about what Wade has going on. I’m looking for a 2nd Degree Black belt that’s a little hotter than stock. Anyways, you guys have any info?
Nik and Ceriatone said they do not have a amp good for modern metal? That seems really strange. The Gargoyle is based off a Fortin Meshuggah, and the leviathan is based off a Friedman butterslax. Both those amps will do modern metal with absolutely no problem. My Yeti will do metal just fine and...
The fortitude has some similarities with the Nasty Nasty, but I would say it is closer to the 2nd degree black belt. It hits a lot harder than its resistance rating, and is really well balanced with a lot of string definition. Right now I have the fortitude in my Les Paul Custom and the Nasty...
Thanks for the help guys! I might check out the Icebucker. This would be going into my Les Paul Custom. Right now I have a Dimarzio Fortitude in it which is actually really close to the Nasty Nasty, the biggest difference is that it doesn’t have quite as much lows and the attack isn’t as...
I should add that the 2nd degree black belt and the Nasty Nasty have both been my favorite. I find it weird that the NN did not take off more. That pickup sounds absolutely amazing
Well it’s good to hear he’s still got stuff going out. Does anyone know much about any of the models he’s currently making? I have owned a Detroiter, afwayu and currently still own a 2nd degree black belt and a Nasty Nasty. I know he’s currently making several other models but there doesn’t seem...
