I have the 100W reissue and it's a really great amp. Nice thrashy tones through the G12EVH and also V30. Now I don't miss my 2203 at all, which I stupidly sold and immediately regretted.
They're not my favorite band, but I like to listen to them sometimes. Anyway, I prefer some of their older stuff (Midian, Nymphetamine). I don't really like their newer production, maybe because of the drummer change. However, OP clip sounds good.
I know exactly what you mean. I always feel that the Artist lacks a bit of gain. But after playing for a while, I always find that it has more than enough. I would compare it to the third channel of the Savage SE (which one I slightly prefer to the fourth).
I also had a "red button" Savage and sold it because I was able to dial in the same/better sound on the Savage SE.
Red tolex is Petrozza signature, not Friedman. I had a Friedman too and regret selling it.

5150III LBX is a great little amp. I liked it very much, but I sold it. It was too loud for apartment and not loud enough to hold up with our drummer. If you want LBX for home practice, then probably LBX-S is a better choice.
Those metalheads think that having a white guitar instead of a black one is some kind of big step out of anonymity, or something similar. So to be safe, they need a custom HH-equipped guitar that looks just like the one in the store :D
