Metallica tours with 64 guitars? JFC!!!

It's just more convenient to travel/gig with modelers. Whether it's better sound wise depends on many other factors. You are 52 but you talk bullshit, including insults.

Metallica tours with 64 guitars? JFC!!!

Your sentence "Rooms change sound, it's not rocket science and even racks don't manage to eliminate those problems with venue speakers are crucial factor." doesn't make sense. You talk about bands in small venues with fixed FOH, or you talk about big touring bands with own equipment incl. FOH...

Metallica tours with 64 guitars? JFC!!!

What are you talking about? What frustrations EQing an amp? Everything in racks, everything set. Stickers on knobs, etc. I'm talking about 1993, I had the opportunity to have a close look at the stage rig during their European tour.

    Back then bands were bands....

Availability, affordability, exactly. This is why the world is full of garbage. Whether it's things or music.

Engl AE + Friedman 412 = thrash tone heaven

I have Savage SE and Petrozza signature. Out of curiosity I bought 100W AE. I was surprised in a very positive way, it has something in it, what makes it a keeper.

    Floyd Rose replacement suggestions

Gotoh, but check the size of the supplied block before you buy, there are options. Otherwise, I really have no problems with FR Special on my guitars.

    This guitar finish is wild

It reminds me of when I did my first paint job in kindergarten :)

    Digital Modelers vs Tube Amps

It's true. And that's when things started to go wrong.

Marshall 1936V vs Mesa Rectifier Horizontal 2x12

IMHO one of the best (V30) cabs is the Engl 412 XXL. Massive sounding, but not boomy. Downside, heavy as hell.

Vintage TS9 and TS808 vs. Modern Variants

Personally, I'm not very interested in boost pedals and I use a cheap Nux OD-3, which is more than enough for me. But I was quite impressed with the Maxon ST9 Pro+ in the video below. But, who knows, @killertone can extract good sound even from a can of ants...

Any Worthy "Upgrade" from the Suhr RL:IR?

These graphs are strange and certainly do not represent the reactive load input impedance in a correct way. I know, TGP, but: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/how-well-does-it-reactive-load.2223180/...

Got a Marshall Silver Jubillee Mini. Great little amp!!!

I play 100W Jubilee through Engl 2x12 Vintage and it's really great. I like it more than through Marshall 4x12 G12 EVH. Umm, it's without doubts excellent for thrash.

Any production rackmount high gain heads worth looking into other than Mesa?

Oh, that's not my rig. Pics are from German classifieds. Just for inspiration.
