I got my Boss Waza Chorus (and a bunch of other Boss effects) in front of my 3rd Power Dragon amp. I got the gain on the amp dimed. There is no annoying noise when I kick on the chorus.
I've tried it in the effects loop, but the volume goes up several notches, so I don't use it that way.
No huge fanfare. Just a killer band and great tunes. The 4 Convicts paroled to sing backup is a nice touch as well.
Also, kudos to the Soundman, who actually lets you hear the guitar clearly.
I had no problem w/ the build quality.
My gripe is the amp is excessively bright. Also excessively bassy. I found the brightness impossible to dial out, using a Strat.
He addressed this with the 50 watt JEL, it has a 3-way bright switch for each channel.
