We were actually talking about going back up there in a few months, it's just a few hour drive from home. Never fail to see players out there who are absolute killers.
The 3 amps I use delay on the most (all in the fx loop) are:
Mark V 25 - they all sound great with relative ease
Fillmore 25 - a little more finicky to get the wet/dry mix just right, but still works consistently well
Orange OR15 - this amp definitely needs a little help from delay/reverb but...
There are still players in bars & venues who can absolutely rip; young & old.
While there are some absolute monster players in the YT/social media realm, it's about time for the overall trend to die.
I can’t recall the last time I heard anything good about Gibsons customer service.
For the prices they command, they should make a little effort to take care of their customers.
Very cool interview.
I like Tom’s channel. He rambles on a lot, but some of the lesson bits he gets into are absolutely golden. He also has an insane ability to pick up different guitars & really lock onto what they excel at.
Supposedly he ran it out front, that’s where I run mine. On my board, it’s right after the tuner, before the dirt pedals.
It’s my favorite phaser, I like the more subtle setting, from the push button.
Or maybe it's grandpa rock at this point :ROFLMAO:
R7 (more) track is panned left, Suhr (less) is on the right. Same EQ settings on both tracks, just flipped the switch & adjusted gain levels.
I recorded this through the Reactive Load IR, which I've really been digging lately. It's...
Definitely one of the better bang for the buck amps out there still.
Although it’s a bummer you can’t just call Peavey up & order replacement parts as easily as it used to be.
I’ve got the badlander 50 & it’s not great at home volume levels honestly. It’s decent there, but the price tag isn’t justifiable unless you can play it pretty loud.
