I don't know anything about that. I've had a Gibson, a Japanese knock-off and still have a Hamer I've had since the late 80's.... and I've never relocated any strap locks.
They're actually balanced quite well, and something about the way that body angle comes up to your right arm just makes for a comfortable well-balanced design for something so pointy. :thumbsup:
