Ruby EL34BHT's are fairly similar to the winged C's. They're my 2 favorite el34s. I don't like the BSTR's at all.

I still use the el34bht. Bstr sounds rubbish and the kt77's sounded lifeless to me. I'll give them another go sometime though. These are what work in my rig. Different guitars, preamp tubes, eq, pickups, cabs, etc will yield different results.

Sometimes crossing speakers defeats the purpose. V30s are always a win with Diezel. Peter also recommends an eminence. I don't recall which though. Might try a search or maybe he will chime in.
