This is exactly what I do with my 50 watt EVH. I have the green setup clean and run a suhr riot, wampler plextortion and a MXR micro amp. I then use the red for a solo channel. All in all it is nice setup and sounds killer, just a bummer that I don't use the blue that much because of the volume...
Well I suppose when you think about it, it's not any different than Bogner coming out with the 20th XTC or Shiva. I'm just pissed because I wanted a 100 watt and now I want this instead!!
Technically I bought 3 that day, Van Halen 1984, Def Leppard Pyromania, and Motley Crue Shout at the Devil (all on vinyl), but I first listened to 1984 so I guess that is my first official record.
I've gone thru a bunch of rigs for various reasons (mostly needing the money), but these days I've worked really hard to get certain pieces of gear and it would be hard to let go of some on it. When I had to live with roommates I use to rent a room in a commercial space dirt cheap so I could...
Worse thing a performer can have - stage fright. I've never gotten over it totally, so I went to school and opened a business. Content just playing with friend these days. Funny thing is I played drums for years before guitar and it never seemed to bother me. I guess starting guitar in my...
I've got an uberkab and a mojotone straight cab with weber legacy's and I like them both with my rev2 for different things. The weber cab still pumps out tons of low end, but its just not as thick as the uberkab. I have the anti-fizz mod on my rev2 and with it engaged thru the weber cab, bass...
I believe that neck was a Boogie Bodies neck thru the Wayne and Lynn Ellsworth partnership. Some others may chime in with the exact story, but I'm pretty sure is was a Boogie Bodies.

It was recommended to me here that I check out Mojotone cabs when I was looking for a 4x12 and everyone was dead on. I can't say enough good things about their cabs. I'm sure the 2x12's are just as good sounding. Of course speakers can make a difference too.

I think it's going to be worth the wait. I went ahead and ordered one and will pick it up when it's ready. It will give me a good excuse to visit a friend that lives near Mojo. Shipping was crazy expensive!

Wow! Thanks for all of the great info. I know the mojo cabs are quality built, but was curious if the way they constructed them made a difference in sound compared to the Bogner. Sounds like my question was answered that they in fact rank right up there.
Sometimes I have to fight my OCD...
Hey All,
I'm in the market for another 4x12 straight cab. I have an Uber and love it, but want something more for rock and blues. So I was thinking a Bogner with Greenbacks, however I came across a good deal on an unloaded Mojo cab. I'll have to add speakers so it may get somewhat pricey...
I keep listening to the YouTube clip and the red blows me away. I had to sell my XTC to complete a bathroom remodel  Hoping that the red sounds at least 90% as good as the amp and I'll be on board!
