Yep, that was me. I keep goig back to the Ecstasy though, so I think this time I am going to stay put. :)

You used to have to go through a dealer. I did spend close to $600 getting a red custom headshell with metal grill. Bogner will sell them direct now, so it is a lot cheaper. Still expensive, but not as bad as before.

Hopefully cheaper than a replacement metal grill headshell; $285 plus shipping for the headshell. In black ($130 for a custom color on top of the $285).

Really? And it fits correctly? Wow, all these years I never knew that. I guess buying a metal grill would be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the entire headshell.

Thanks Bro; I have a Bogner with greenbacks now, but will prob get the V30 loaded cab, as I previously had one and thought it sounded better with the Ecstasy. Reinhold says the Ecstasy was voiced with V30's in mind. Can't wait to try out the 20th Anniversary Ecstasy. Thanks for all the info...

Probably. Always GASing and had a chance on a good deal to get what I heard is a great amp. Will be sticking with the Ecstasy though. Thanks all.

Has anyone used a G System with the Ecstasy to changed channels, boosts, etc>? If so, other than the midi octopus cable, do you need anything besides the G system to get this to work? And if you have used it, how well did it work out for you? Thanks. JT

No, they can not be interchanged, but the headshells can be swapped. Coincidentally, I am looking to swap my wheat shell out for a metal grill shell. Interested? I sent you a PM. JT
