    Diezel VH4 vs. Bogner Ecstasy

I have a 2009 Bogner Ecstasy, and find it to be a very good amp, very nice tone, flexible and spongy, etc. Great qualities I looked for in Marshalls, but never found. I still find myself wanting a bit more. More gain, more flexibilty, but still great tone. I mostly play classic rock and some...

    vh4 update

At what point did they do the update? Was it sometime in 2005 or in 2006. I am going to buy a 2005 VH4 (I think...if there aren't any financial issues), but would definitely like more gain on ch 2. Is there a certain serial number range where they started the change? Thanks. JT

    Picking up my 101B tonight

Hopefully he will be doing mods again; I have heard great things about the Ecstasy mods; I guess there is a blue channel mod that is incredible.

    Picking up my 101B tonight

I have no doubt; he has a great set of ears, and has come up with some cool stuff. Too bad most of it is not accessible to the majority of us.

    Picking up my 101B tonight

Mark is not even modding amps anymore; you can't even talk to the gu these das. For the last 2 years the only person I talked to was Chris. I was on the waiting list for one of their amps, but grew tired of waiting. Seems a lot of people have issues with how the are running things too. Not my...

    Picking up my 101B tonight

Thanks. I am going to try it without the Marvel mod, but will probably add it; seems like a cool idea. I saw the ad for the Metal Grill headshell, found it too late and it had just sold. Oh well, they are out there.

    Picking up my 101B tonight

Thanks. Just got it home and haven't even put it through its paces yet. Tomorrow will be fun.

    Picking up my 101B tonight

Well, taking the plunge yet again. This will be my 5th Ecstasy, and hopefully the last. Each time I buy one, I think something different is going to end up being the Holy Grail Of Tone, so I end up selling, only to go back to one. In all fairness, once I sold because I needed cash, and then...

    Anyone selling an Einstein?

My budget (unless I sell my Goldtop LP) is $2k. I bid on an Einstein on E-Bay (50w head), but there is another day on the auction, so I will have to see if I win. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Metal-grill headshell anyone?

If anyone has a metal grill head shell that they would like to sell, I'd be in the market. Please PM me with details. Thanks.

    Anyone selling an Einstein?

Gassing really badly for one; I have had both the Einstein and Herbert in the past, can't afford a VH4, so I am set on another Einstein. If anyone has a nice one, PM me price and details and we can go from there. Thanks. JT

Needing some Les Paul neck pickup advice

You'd have to spend a bit more than 80 bucks, but if you do, check out the Sheptone PAF style pickups, particularly the AB or BK Sig sets; amazing tone.

    Joe Bonamassa`s custom XTC

I don't know much about Joe's Ecstasy that is being built, but I know that I have had Ecstasys and Jubilees (getting rid of my current Jubilee, a nice 2550), and I would take the Ecstasy any day; trying to get funds for another now.

    Favorite Bogner powered Albums

Deconstruction. Dave Navarro used a lot of PRS Guitars and a Bogner Ecstasy on this one; I always loved to sound of this album.

    Check my VH4 tone

No, Sacramento is just as dead as anything else unless you are a signed band. Even then, it still sucks.

Selling my VH4...... Someone wants it?

No, he makes you play a newer Marshall. :)

    Setup the guitar right

Looks like the Vh4 is where I am going with the amp, so this is good to know: I always use Les Pauls and will keep this in mind. So I take it that you like the sound a bit now, huh?

Anyone have a white chassis 101B and what do you think

Well, I have played it a bit more. I really think it is more open sounding that the later 101B's, but that is the only sonic difference I notice. I do like the options on this amp, particularly the assignable speaker outs. At first I thought I didn't like it, but after dialing it in a bit, it...

Anyone have a white chassis 101B and what do you think

I am hoping it is the white chassis. So what have you found to be the difference between the 2, and what do you like more about the white one? Thanks. JT
