That's how a wife truly says, "I love you." Pretty awesome that she's in-tune with your bucket list gear & did that for you!
p.s. need a bigger pic - looks like there's checking all over the guitar which is very cool in my book.
My favorite is probably the Dunlop MC404 CAE Wah. I have 2 of them so it must be true (or not).
I also dig the Snarling Dogs wah. I have the Mold Spore and the Super Bawl Whine-O. Both get pretty rude and I like that a lot.
Of course, any wah collection isn't complete without a trusty 'ol...
Picked up this Rivera K412B off marketplace. I've had a couple Rivera heads in the past, but no cabs. Can't say I'm not happy, minus the distinct smell of being drenched in nicotine. It was a long drive home with the smell of this thing blasting my nostrils for 2 hours!
It's been a long time...
I'll continue to love the Gibson guitars I've had and still have in my possession. I'm an equal opportunity player. In addition to (4) Gibson's, I have (2) ESP LTD, (2) Epiphone, and (3) Schecter guitars. If a guitar plays, looks, and sounds good, why not? It's not as though we're getting...
1978 Gibson RD Custom with Dunable Grizzly pickups. Original case too. Took all the Moog crap out, but saved the electronics & the Dirty Finger pickups.
I have a Rev F blackface/chrome chassis with EL34's in it and I think it sounds great. I've always gravitated towards EL34 tubes though. True or not, I feel like they create more bite than 6L6's. They work well in a Dual Rec. YMMV.
The album hits the spot, indeed. Especially after ingesting 72 Seasonings. burp
