really good track :thumbsup: i think youd really enjoy a group called jaga jazzist, they incorporate really interesting experimental jazz with electronic devices. really good quality stuff. they are from oslo, norway i believe.

all the clean/low gain clips with the 101b sound pretty good. that acoustic song with the vocals and the violin samples is really neat as well, the way you structured that reverse intro sounds perfect. i love how it leads right into that arpeggio on the guitar. what pre/compressor did you use...

this thread got me curious, so ive been listening to a ton of recordings with both amps in them lately. i gotta say man, id advise the herbert for sure. check out a band called divinity, i found out about them through the Diezel clips page, the song on the page isnt the best, but if you look up...

as a former mkv owner i have to make mention-- that amp slays bodies-- and this raises a big issue with buying new amps... not all amps are plug and play. when i first recieved my mkv i wanted to return it. it took me nearly 2 months to get it dialed to sound where i wanted it, but when i did it...

actually, the recent prices ive seen on PRS guitars are pretty competitive with what gibson is offering. just sayin'

i absolutely love gibson les paul's -- but that said gibson is pissing me the fawk off with the new 08 standard and the pricing lately... i could get a sick PRS 10 top 20th anniversary for the same price as a new 08 standard and that just doesnt sit well with me. maybe i only played lemons, but...

that is a funny thing, I definitely agree though, each amp does suit a particular riff more so than the others. have you tried double tracking with more than just one of these?

The new Engl gigmaster deal seems pretty sick for a low watter.

if you dig , there is a sick video clip of bonamassa running through the SD45, some of the leads i heard in that clip really made me gas for one-- but its never really been one of those "i-have-to-have-it" amps.
