Haha that's right! I did. The only three amps I re-bought were a Hermansson Recto, Moab, and hellion.
I do not like the Hermansson through a mesa v30. I ran one through the metal half-back cab loaded with Mesa v30's and it sounded goofy...but I really like it through the Marshall MF280 V30...
Nice! I have a hellion and Hermansson recto and love them both. I find my Hermansson to be very cabinet dependent. Some of the settings also can be pretty extreme (example cranking the gain and tightness, because the gain saturation is necessary for it not to get choked)
I got an axe fx en route so I’ll either be really happy to frantically reinstalling RJM effect gizmos trying to remember my routing and hating life haha
Sedona is so rad. I look back at housing prices there 5 years ago and cry internally. I split time between Phoenix and Prescott (northern arizona).
If you're in town tomorrow you're always welcome to shoot me a pm even for recommendations for food in Chandler or Scottsdale!
It's effective and won't compromise your killer setup. It's funny because that setup is very similar to ideal studio control room construction. Room inside of a room.
Yeah those are so hard to find now. Particularly in good shape. But it was kind of nice moving back to heads. The only issue is the space...it's a vicious cycle haha
Thanks, man. I used to have so much more in it. I had a cantrell modded fish, a soldano rack, a 3+se, the matchless preamp, the demeter, a 2290, the real tri-chorus from the 80s, all sorts of shit. Then I realized I was insane and moved the pieces. RIP
Thanks, man! So, full disclosure, I am in Arizona so outside of a couple monsoon days we have no humidity. However, my friends in HVAC claim they are excellent at controlling humidity and climate. I have a brand new 2.5 ton ac central unit for the room over from this and they feel equal in terms...
