This makes much more sense.
Looks & review wise, them seem to be as good as any boutique built guitar out there.
I'll be in LA next week & am going to track down a store that carries these to try them out.
I can easily see Avalanche, who owns Suhr & knows nothing about guitars or the boutique guitar industry, moving production to China & only keeping a US custom shop branch to lower costs & increase profits.
I love my Suhr guitars, but it's getting a bit weird, & I have a feeling it's going to...
I love the look & feel of strats but love the fat tone of LPs, so I get super strats built that have mahogany a body/neck, with a humbuckers that split. Best of both worlds.
1st selling out to an E-Cigarette company for low cash & stock & now this.
Makes me want to buy up as many pre-Avalanche Shurs as possible.

I have 2 x 65 creambacks in my cab that I use with my Kingsley head which is a souped up Dumble style head.
They're pretty tight, however, I don't go for the down tuned super distorted chunky tone.
Also, they have tightened up as they got broken in but my guess is that they're more for a...
I wanted to buy a Kramer baretta body & neck from them, but had a few questions. I called at least 1/2 a dozen times & always got voice mail. Left msgs, never got a response, so I went with Warmoth.
Their stuff looks good, but no responses is not cool, imo.
Kingsley custom built Marquee head & Kingsley 2x12 open back cab w/ Creambacks.
So far, this combo sounds sweeeet & hopefully even sweeeeter once the speakers break in.
I may actually get off my ample derriere & make a few clips of these fellas in action.
I hadn't even heard of Blackmachine until I read some posts here from people saying it was the best guitar they'd ever played, ever made etc.
I didn't like the shape & the price was silly so I didn't keep up on the thread.
My friend, who's a guitar nut & has way too much money, bought one...
I totally agree. Fancy tops look great, but imo they add nothing to the tone. The big bucks come from the fancy logo on the headstock & the myth attached to those names.
For under $1000, you can order order a great neck, body & parts from Warmoth & have a guitar that's better than 90% of the...
Here are a couple of my custom jobs. Both, imo, are better looking, sounding & playing than the Blackmachine. But I'm biased so disregard what I just said.
I got to spend a couple of hour playing a Blackmachine B6 through my own gear on the weekend & I have to admit, I DON'T GET IT!!!!
It was a quality instrument for sure, but the wait time, hype & price for these things is astronomical, & imo, it wasn't anywhere near as good as the price tag...
