Yeah, leave it like that. It's a nice piece of history, hard to find mint like that. One boost that i like clearly better than the others with the rev G's is the Cusack Screamer. Doesn't tight the bass as much as my other boost, but super transparent and really quiet. I keep the bass lower...

Yep, sad that he left this place. Aside from his fiery personality, i thought he had some of the coolest amps to demo in his clips.

I saw Jason's (Killertone) Hex Drive clip yesterday, i really like the clean boost until clipping feature. Plus the Tube Screamer mid bump working as a knob makes it pretty versatile, i'm definitely getting one. Thanks!

What you like about the Hex Drive that is different than other OD's? I'm curious about this one.

Just to clarify things, that amp was modded by Reinhold for Uberknot. Alex bought the amp from him a while ago. You guys don't like the price i understand all that, but this as nothing to do with Uberknot anymore.

No offence Dave, your mod is not in the same league. I did your mod with a switch on mine, cool but i didn't like it that much. This amp is something else, on the verge of exploding but in an amazing way.

I know the seller well and i've played that modded amp at my house, sounds killer! Unfortunately, i don't have that much money to spend on amps these days.

Congrats!! Uberschall's are killer amps, i also prefer them slightly boosted. They have some chewiness in the feel that i like a lot. For power tubes, i really liked the JJ KT77's in rev blue and EH 6CA7 in rev 2.

I listened with the crappy Mac speakers at first and thought the low mids were excessive, then switched to headphones and liked it. Close but i prefer the Darker + Brighter Uber mix in this, sounds great!
