I dunno Schenker would have had to learn how to use his pinky.
I found some really cool bootlegs last week I never heard before. Posted them in the other thread. Very cool to hear more of the stage sound.
His tone was killer live. Been re learning SATO for fun, tones are pretty rippin on it. Will probably grab one of these to have at some point. I like the Dist + anyway.
Yeah but Priest did Parental Guidance…ugh. seriously though, British Steel and Point Of Entry then Blizzard comes out then Screaming For Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith. They stepped it up a bit Ima thinking.
VH had some cool songs, but not that interesting to me. Basic party rock. Randy was much more interesting to me the way he recorded and crafted / weaved parts together. He was more of a composer. Metal was much different after the first two Ozzy albums. Would have loved to hear the next...
Sounds like fun. 😎
Yeah growing up playing in bands and getting to gig regularly late 80’s to 2000’s was a great time. I just missed the real heydays of 70’s-80’s. I know guys that played back then, they have some great stories of playing.
Hauling 5 4-12’s, 3 heads, JC120 and a rack sure...

I contacted Scumback and he said he makes a version of the T1511’s I liked. I still have two that were reconed by another company about 20 years ago. Have hated them ever since, may let him try reconing them again and then buy a couple of his for my old cab. Then get a 65 watt pair for my 212...
Watch the ACDC vid on my channel if you want to hear the G12m-20’s. T1511 55 hz with 014 cones. Best GB’s I ever had till they finally died. Would love to find a modern equivalent. Tight full bass, clear and smooth top. Downside were they did not throw the sound very far. Had to be more...
Both of my ‘69’s have those extra tube socket holes with the factory covers. Those black oxide washers have “eaten” into the chassis from being there for 50 years or whatever. Hard to say how many years it tales for the chemical reaction to take place. They used the same chassis as Super...
