Sure thing - its a great poweramp for that and can take a line level feed of the test signal from an interface to run through a cabinet - exactly what you need (bar the mics and cab) for creating your own IRs! :)

Great question. There is no selectable impedance curve - rather it is an average of the key drivers in Celestion's line which they have subsequently validated.
