Yeah, less nasal and fizzy than the V30, and fatter on the low end.
Reminds me of the sound I get because I normally run 2 cabs, one with Celestions, and one with Eminence. These kind of sound like that mix on their own.
I would say if anything killed AmpFests, it would be YouTube.
Why drive and find other people when you can just watch people play all the rare amps at any time you choose?
I think they sound really good. I cant even describe how they sound, other than just good. Not as fizzy as Celestions, and not as hollow as some Eminence. They seem to sit between those.
Yep, I have one of these. I bought his other one a few years ago. I modified it for a depth control. It is like 18" deep and weighs about 50 pounds. It is a tank.
It is supposed to be a copy of the 2150 or 2/90/2 . It sounds pretty massive.
Pretty much any government job in the US is going to be in person. I know my team lost some people when the hybrid work from home schedule got revoked.
I think 2 power supplies should actually work better. For the last few years I used 2 OneSpots, and I used one for the pedals in front of an amp, and the other for the pedals in the loop.
If I cross-plugged either of them, many times I would get a lot of ground hum, or sometimes a squeal. It...
Definitely agree with above. I decided to change careers about 5 years ago and got into database and data analytics work for the government.
I just sat down and learned R, SQL, and Python after my day job at my previous job until I knew enough to get a new job.
Another cool one is the Dimarzio D Sonic. I have it on a guitar tuned in C#. Much sharper than the Duncan stuff.
I also think the Dimarzio Super Distortion does a mean Carcass type sound when tuned in B.
I love the Synergy stuff. It is one of my rigs I play with. I have 8 high gain modules, the Syn-2, and I run it through a 200w KT88 Poweramp.
Overall, I find it to be tighter and clearer than the amps they are based on.
