I think the Powerball sounds similar to the 6505, but with a tighter, more immediate attack.

I prefer scooped mids and big bass 😀 The Drect is best with a boost.

I have been looking at these with a M Vave Chocolate Plus. I don't need a bunch of sounds, but 4 instead of 2 would be helpful. I don't know if it that would make more sense, or just get a bigger ToneX pedal.

Yeah, any time you run your effects in parallel you can't use any serial effects like EQ, gate, tremolo, or compressor. I use this for pitch detune, chorus, delay, and Reverb. I run an analog gate and EQ before the parallel effects for that.

I use a Samson SM-10. It works great for guitar racks, but it is a lot of mixer for only 1 unit. I keep my Axe II, G Major 2, and Lexicon MPX-1 in my mixer, which is all racked. I generally run it after my tube amps when I reamp them into a poweramp.

The problem with most digital processors is they digitize your entire signal, which can mess with the feel and tone. I also have a Syn-2 and a G Major 2. I would definitely recommend a mixer so you can run the G Major 2 in parallel. Killer Kali or Be-Dlx would do good at 80s.

Yeah, on a 4060 GPU it only takes like 10 minutes for a standard training. Sadly, my computer has a 5070, which is too new because it won't work. They are working on that issue now. That is why I haven't done more captures.

Yeah, I have been playing with ToneX and NAM. I find them pretty comparable overall, but have found more good captures for ToneX. I have thought about playing with capturing my amps with NAM while I wait for IK to fix the capturing with 50xx series GPUs.

Do you find the capture devices to have better feel than the Fractal modeling?

Actually a year ago it had no effects and they added them for free. They also just came out with the Factory Version 2 a few months ago with all new presets that now include effects. It didn't have that before, so they are updating it with free updates. It is hard for me to say for the content...

Maybe. I was playing with 96k the other day, and I had to raise it to 128 or 256. I was in Reaper though with a ton of different plugins running.

It doesn't just open when you click on it in the system tray. It should open a little menu where your mouse is, and then you have to select open the interface manager from the menu.
