The Axe I/O Series has its own program for the interface so you wont use Windows sound settings. Either in the tray at the bottom right, or just in your installed programs, you should have the Axe I/O Interface Manager program. You can also change settings in there, like the output of the...
Glad to hear it finally worked! Sounds like your internet was just slow to pull everything through. It does take some time the first time you load it all up for it to download all of the things you own. Once it is all there it runs smoother.
Yeah, the feel will be different because it is like...
I run my Axe I/O at 64, and I can select it down to 32. You should be able to lower it. I always have my interface on before I open ToneX, and that screen shown above always pops up when I first open it. There might be something else connecting to it and selecting 256 before you get to it. You...
I have been focusing more lately on what I actually use instead of what looks cool. Yeah, all these complicated multi-effect units that can run 20 effects at once with MIDI switching and scenes, etc... all look very cool, but since I basically 1 one setting on delay, I really dont need it. Let's...
I have really been liking Eminence better lately because Celestion always seems to have that fizzy upper mid / highs that gets irritating after awhile. I have been loving the Swamp Thangs lately.
If you bypass the cab to run through an actual amp make sure it is a DI capture with a separate IR. If it is sound with a baked in cab, they never sound right when you try to bypass the cab.
You can only put the sounds from the ToneX application into the ToneX pedal. Anything from Amplitube or T-Racks are totally different plugins.
Think of ToneX as only an amp capture device with a few bonus effects. It is not a full multi-effects unit like many of the others.
I think I have 20 guitars, so I don't really have a main. My favorites are probably Schecter though. Narrow 42mm nuts with round C necks about 20mm thick. I can't do flatter wider necks.
I have the Harley Benton version of this guitar, lol.
I have always been curious about the Suhr Moderns. On paper they look perfect, but not sure I would like the neck, as I have read they are a little flatter, like a Jackson, which I cant do.
The Echoplex and Sunset Reverb are part of the T-Racks 6 program, which is a totally different software package.
However, if you only use the phaser/flanger, delay, and reverb that are part of ToneX, yes, you can save the preset to the pedal including those effects.
The 78/79 collection...
Yeah, I have a ToneX One pedal. I just make all my changes in the software and then download it into the pedal. There is really no reason to tweak it once it is on the pedal.
Personally I have never had a single issue with it. I am not sure how so many people have so many problems with it.
The very first time I tried it, I think I understood what was going on after about 5 minutes.
I have never had an issue like that with the IK stuff. On my old computer Amplitube 5 would take a long time to open, and then sometimes it would crash and shut down, but that computer was also like 12 years old and under the minimum requirements. ToneX doesn't take as many resources as...
