    I have one channel set at noon, the other at about 2 o'clock, and I'm getting all the gain I need. It's similar to what I remember getting from the smallbox. I have a buxom boost, but haven't tried it yet.

    Got a Synergy 30 head Monday. Basic clean channel and one slot for a module, 2 6L6s. The BE module sounds wonderful! 2 channels with shared eq, separate gain and volume. Still dialing in, but DAMN! This platform is killer. Takes me back to when I was moved by the smallbox. I'll be playing...

    Yep, establish relationship with your favorite rep. When you mention guitar center promo, they jump. Sometimes they offer better financing, that can effect pricing. Their customer service is worth a little more.
