Alex at Grendel is slow responding to his customers (I had the same issue), but he ultimately comes thru. I have a feeling he is crushed with orders, and this probably isn't his primary job. I have a Dead Room, and it's pretty kickass (never had the Randall to compare to). The comparison to...

I feel the same way, I just wish there were more demo models available for people to get their hands on....other than that, all we have is clips. But "feel" is half the battle for a good amp (IMHO).
