The Market shouldn't be the only indicator used to determine that the economy has recovered; GDP(http://www.theatlantic.com/past/politics/ecbig/gdp.htm), real estate,National Debt, etc, should be given consideration too. The GDP link is older but gives insight into a previous recession and how...
Wow, some of you guys are harsh! I nominate the most critical Vai fans to the Council Of Critics so you can illuminate us with your combined wisdom and quips on all things religious and political too. Greatness knows no bounds.
On a side note, everyone knows that whoever that hidden guitar...
Wow, those are good finds, but the pawn shops in my area have been eaten up by 2 chain stores and they run it like a corporation. I'd take a road trip /vacation if I knew where to find some decent shops.

What? No tonemaster or SLO? You're going from a rich cholesterol laden diet to rice cakes? Slow and steady, you need to ween yourself off of that or you're going to have withdrawals and it won't be pretty. ;)

The notes and phrasing....so complex, you sir are the Phillip Glass of your generation. I would, however, like to hear a dubstep version if this too. I would recommend deadmau5, that Portnoy guy is soooo overrated.

I have the v30 and h30 in an X in my Marshall cab, I never tried all h30's, but the bass is good playing through a metal panel Marshall. My favorite cab is the old Hiwatt, iirc it's a mid 70's and has a small port in the back, that thing has a lot of bass and sounds really sweet.
Broderick is definitely more of a technical player and Lynch plays from the soul. A teacher once told me that once a guitarist progresses in his abilities, technique gives way to feel.
I have a San Dimas USA that plays and sounds great, really low and fast action. I like the tone I get from the mahogany/maple cap body and maple neck with a Duncan RTM and Dimarzio SDS1 in the neck. The finish on the neck is a satin clear and I played a Charvel Japan (I think) that was raw wood...
I used to keep them on stands in a spare room where the temp gets up to 85 in the Summer and 65 in the Winter, never had a problem. A couple years ago one of my Carvins neck warped and I noticed a few fingerboards had shrunk, now I keep my guitars in their case stored either under my bed or in a...
