My 1973-74 cabinet says marshall in the handles and the cups. My 800 cabinet here doesnt. All my other cabinets are spread out, but it really doesnt mean a lot. Some have it some dont.

If its all.original, it's more in line with an earlier cab. It has a 2x4 brace. They stopped doing that in 1973 area. The piping on top they stopped doing in 1975. Same with the smooth tolex. They started putting corner protectors on then in the 73-74 range. The larger Marshall logo...

I usually run a Chinese preamp tube. Some tubes can make a difference in v3, but not all that much.
