Not to highjack, but the early/mid-80s Peavey Nitros were a fantastic USA pointy as well. Tough to find nowadays, but generally cheap when you do.
Love FW, but had a harder time getting into the earlier stuff with Arch, but Twist of Fate is just brilliant. I seriously encourage FW/Arch lovers/haters to pick that up.
Don't forget about the post-EVH era Peaveys. I've got an HP Special CT and it's fantastic. Cosmetically the quilt is nice, but neck is loaded with birdseyes. The thing plays like a dream and they can be had relatively cheaply.
I haven't see it mentioned here, but over on the Metro forum George announced that he's discontinuing his amp kits. He'll still do his replicas, but just not the kits. I've done a few builds, AX84 Hi-Octane, Egnater Seminar, SLO, and a "Marshalized" EVJ, but I never got around to a Metro...
Thanks again, I agree the rewire options will make things a bit more straightforward.
I got the line out box today, hooked things up and it sounds quite good. Ideally a bit more space would allow me to spread out a bit and undoubtable sound better. Need to get permission for that though. :no...
Thanks again to all who responded. I like Shark Diver's recommendation for the 2x12 and 4x12 for the dry signal. The only difficulty with that is the jack plate on the 2x12 has separate jacks for each speaker which means three speaker cables would be required. Maybe I should rewire the 2x12 for...
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Sounds like it might actually be pretty straightforward. By most accounts it seems I can pick a head as the primary tone for all cabs. Then using the Suhr ISO feed the AXE-FX for the L/R processing into the stereo power amp of choice, finally out to the Eggie...
RTers-
After hearing the fantastic clips of folks who've gone W/D/W I'd like to give it a shot. I'm not sure which of my gear in such configuration would be best "I know that's subjective". Here's a couple of shots showing what I've got available. Most of it is pretty recognizable, but feel...
Here's a link to a photo diary detailing the entire process.

I'll have to agree with the the great, but "different" sentiment. I generally use the M4 through a 2/50/2 (w/JJ KT77s) and it's fantastic, without question. Sometimes I run it through the series loop of the MOD50 (w/Svet 6550s) and that too is really great, and seems a bit more interactive than...
Finish is very interesting. It feels slightly rubbery with a textured surface on the "webbing". I doubt you're going to see any smudges or fingerprints, at least on the charcoal web, the solid colors might be different. Extremely high quality instrument as well, but that's no surprise.
Very nice. What about the 1500?

Seems to have the same interior depth. I don't have the module dimensions handy to know how many would fit in a given orientation, but it's less than 80 bucks at Amazon.
