Not much info on this... only saw the telegib guitar whom Seymour presented at namm.... but we could order the concept set from duncan website.... i just wondering if it gonna be a game changer with a better different organic sound of how the original JB sound....
JB lovers.... just wondering has anybody tried the authentic Telegib concept set by Duncan custom shop? Its the first iteration which Seymour built for Jeff back back in the days before the Jeff beck Humbucker is called JB....
Any sonic difference between the stock production JB or antiquity...
Gosh i cant believe Jackson usa series is heading to that direction, i still prefer the old Jackson usa select series 10 to 20 years ago that was probably the golden years of Jackson guitars....
Have got one in teal mine is a 060 raw teal whom i ordered serveral years back... its indeed a perfectly builted guitar.... action on it is coolest and its super fast.... but it also has the thinnest neck and body made of some resin compound to sound like alder?
All in all a super fast playing...
I be getting in a 2006 era R9.... but on the other hand i itch for a Heritage H150CC when i hear this
A clear difference which the H150CC sounded more organic, way huge and harmonically richer and compressed....
Second to that.... !!! I played my gibson LP thru UL and Wizard with the burstbuckers on my R8 and duncan antiquity on R7 hear hear the most open aggresssive tone ever....
This brings me wanting to date a Hell razor on the second hand budget market lol
Besides the clanky top end and higher amount of gain which HR exhibits... does the HR gets squealy when gain all maxed out being unusable ?
