Unfortunately no, It doesn't work with a 9v battery, only with an adapter and I have clean signal passing to my amp with the pedal but it's dead as soon as I engage it, so back to GC it goes.

That sounds pretty bitchin' and it's making me want to search for one of those or a Vetta to mess with :p

I don't know, a lot of these bands sound like they sharing the same recording engineer, gear and recording equipment, 8/9 string multiscale guitars with fishman pickups with double boosted amps with an EQ and/or sonic maximizer in the loop with ungoldly amounts of low end and annoying twang-y...

I really dug your clips of the Cali, it's sounds tight af and mean. I wonder how tight the Iron Forge will be in comparsion? it seems like it could vary by how the 3 gain pots are set because it seemed bass heavy on his demo but the tone was there.

Bit the bullet on a 100w Iron Forge yesterday, 2 month build time which is reasonable. They look solid from the gut shot posted on the other Crab amp thread.

I went back and forth with myself about selling the XXX I got last year but decided to hang onto it for now, admittedly I didn't give it a fair shake as I got my EVH Stealth 100 a week later, but going to put it through it's paces soon.
