I think on the original the dive at the end was actually done with a delay by turning up the delay time slowly. I wish I had some time to build a preset to demonstrate how to do this. Maybe I can get Matt to do one.
LDRs (photocells) are used for switching. They have a negative coefficient wrt to incident light. The LDRs used in amps are co-packaged with an LED. When the LED is on the LDR will pass signal and vice-versa.
LDRs are popular because they are fairly silent when switching, last long and can...
Not that this will do any good...
We expect to ship 16 units to TM by the end of the week.
We don't accept deposits from anyone. That has always been, and will always be, the case. We don't charge credit cards until product is shipped and all our dealers have terms.
TM and G66 are very...
Yeah, I messed up. It wasn't what I intended. There's nothing I can do about it now. Everyone is pissed at me and hates me. All I can do is say I'm sorry that my remarks were misinterpreted. Sorry.
I'm skeptical of that 1000W rating on the power amp. That's probably into two ohms. I'm guessing you are running into 8 ohms so you're probably only getting a couple hundred watts which won't be as loud as a 100W tube amp.
Okay, here goes....
The lowpass response is entirely due to negative feedback. The negative feedback only happens at higher frequencies which reduces the gain at those frequencies (via A/(1 + AB)). In the case of a triode the output impedance actually increases because it is a current source...
I was going to reply in detail but you really need to study some basic electronics before you go posting stuff like this. Just about everything you wrote is incorrect.
If the cap is connected from plate to grid it is "local negative feedback" and creates a lowpass filter. The plate voltage is out of phase with the grid and is fed back to the grid thereby canceling the grid at high frequencies. It's similar to putting a cap across the plate resistor except...
Are you sure the cap should be between 7 and 8? 10pF would have a negligible effect between grid and cathode as the tube's Miller capacitance will be far greater than that.
Between 6 & 7 makes sense as that will give a little high-frequency feedback thereby rolling off the highs.
And, for the...
I remember his first name was Abe so you're probably right. None of us are very good players and he was really interested in the Axe-Fx so we gave him a t-shirt and told him to go nuts for the video.

More proof that Rolling Stone is staffed by musical retards.
What really cinched it for me though, was years ago they rated Rush as one of the all-time worst bands claiming that Neil Peart was probably the worst Rock drummer ever.
