Nice! I think CH4 is the best Metal Channel of any amp ever. Total Chunk and Thump I'm currently flip-flopping running KT88s, or the stock 6550's in my Savage 120 Mk2. Can't decide which to stick with....they both sound great!

Yes, JJ's come stock in the MT100. I was surprised to find 4 of them went microphonic. Definitely weakened Channel 2 til i replaced them

I retubed my 5150 III 100W with JJs from Eurotubes and it sounds HUGE. JJ's are really reliable tubes. Retubed a few other amps too. They all sound amazing now. I bought a used PRS MT100 that had 4 microphonic preamp tubes in it. Retubed the preamp tubes, and now it sounds massive. JJ's work.

You can't beat the KSR PA50 with a Quad Cortex. I run my QC through a PA50 that I re-biased with KT77s. Sounds just like the power section of my Engl Invader 2.
