Thanks guys. I used a profile of a HTC made by Nico Schliemann.
Compressed, really? I don't hear that at all.
By the way, there's no EQ or no compression as well. Just a light and short delay.
You're totally right, man! Although I wish R Graham and T Quayle would release more music.
Govan is still playing a lot. And everywhere around the globe. Music industry has changed since the 80's, that's right. But there aren't just big areas. Youtube has made the guitar quite popular I think...
Yeah, I've been following Tom Quayle; Rick Graham and consorts since their early beginning. Those guys had really a big influence on me somehow and have kept me inspired and willing for quite some time now. :) They're just soooo good.
However I sometimes think those guys are more teachers than...
Hi guys,
For those who find it cool to throw some fusion/jazz influences in their playing from time to time, here's a lick I transcribed from fusion virtuoso Martin Miller.
Look around 0:40 for the original lick:

More of the guy, for those who wanna...
Yeap! Unfortunately, I seem to be repellent to long time relations with female singers. And without even sex relations involved. How lucky I am... Haha :(
Well, if you wanna keep improving, know what works or what don't and see how people experience what you do or think you're doing, I think it does. That does not mean I'm less proud of it. But it's all a form of leaning at different levels. Music is a form of communication, and that can be improved.
Hi fellow guitarists,
My band Rouge United (http://www.rougeunited.com) just released its first videoclip! It's the outcome of more than one year of work (actually nearly 2 between the idea of releasing a videoclip and publishing it today). It has been much work, frustration, learning and it's...
Yeah, like everyone said, there's so much you can take out of this style. It's just huuuuge. And the guitarists from the style are usually killer players indeed.
Yeap! Exactly. I mostly used some A harmonic minor, A melodic minor, D melodic Minor, E phrygian dominant and some chromatisms and passing notes applied to arpeggios... Basically I just flow with the chords. But I'm still a noob and there's more you can do, inside and outside playing as well.
I...
Yeah, totally agree with that. I also believe the more influences you get, the more styles you practice, the more special you get to sound. So I make sure to practice whatever I don't understand.
You gotta check Angelo Debarre if you can. This guy is a living legend and one of my favorites...
Typically a pop or rock oriented guitarist, I seriously got stuck into gipsy jazz since the beginning of 2013 and I started to dig it deep I must say. I noticed how much practicing and playing the style improved my time feel and more generally my playing and "think speed". Anyone tried it...
Just me having fun on a Djangology from Django Reinhardt and studying the style of the incredible Angelo Debarre. I urge you to check the guy!!! He's got style and class...
Some mistakes here and there but that guitar is not really formated for that kind of music: action is much too high and...
Sorry to disappoint you Garey. ;) I meant (too) serious shit. But those videos from Lars are quite irritating, I think. I like to believe the poor guy is a nice lad. That's just the image they try to give him. At least I hope for his family, colleagues and friends. :p
Glad you dig it, Immortal...
Hey guys,
I'm just getting started with the first lick video of - I hope - a long series. I will try to publish more as regularly as possible. Hopefully you dig it...
Let me know what you think. Your feedback is more than welcome! :)
