I have two Carvin sevenstringers now and love them to death. So much so I sold my Mayones and BRJ and now looking to sell my BFR as I love the feel and playability more with these two. I know a lot of folks will think I am crazy but for me there just comfortable, built very well and the woods...

Its hard to say why on that given night that thing sounded incredible. Maybe the guy spent a shit load of time developing his sound and going direct to the board and the settings on the board where just in the sweet spot... :dunno: But it definetly sounded amazing and the the other dudes were...

I actuly seen a guy live using this set up that absolutely destroyed all the other bands and they were using some very high dollar amps. The sound guy was also saying it was one of the best live tones he ever heard and I would have to agree. He is a very well known and respected soubd engineer...

I am and absolutely love it. It is so bad ass to go on a bussiness trip or vacation and take a Ipad or your Iphone and a guitar plug in and have a pretty much recordable guitar tone any time anywhere. I use mine all the time for practicing as it just works. I also find using the 19.99 adapter...

Its all in the way you eq it and use the master volume... They sound great if you take the time.

For me the Herbert I absolutely love this amp. A close second for the High gain is the Dar FBM.

Juggy is helping me put mine in place. So far an Ibanez SR 375-M 5 string awesome feeling and sounding bass. The neck feels so nice and fast. I am going to run an Acme 410 cab and still trying to work out the power section. So far I am diggin the challenge as it is not so easy to play at 220 bpm...

I have full shreds in my Carvin DC 727 and it sounds phat and mean very tight bottom and a very nice grind to them.

I played the the custom shop black tele the other day and it was the tits. Played like a dream and sounded killer.
