I have had a 8 ohm hotplate for years, never had any problem with it. Mostly use it as a load for slaving or line out for amp captures in the QC.

My 2150 is also a first run with the reverse chassis. and blue. It may have different transformers too, need to contact Steve for the rundown. Also running on GE 6550. I love that amp so much and feel lucky to have it.

No contest there, the 2150 is huge, sounds huge. But the powerstation can make things quieter, the 2150 not so much. LOL, Hope not, because this amp came to me with a broken headshell. It broke clean on the tongue and groove, glued it up and away we go.

The only amps I have ever sold were all rectifiers. I have had three of them, I just do not like playing them. Other people sound great to me on them.

Got a 20 space and still have a few stray units but it is mostly in this.

Turns out two preamp tubes actually went at the same time and mass confusion set in with the tube layout. Mistakes were made. lol In my defense, the fish has 8 preamp tubes...

Was playing the fish preamp today and it just stopped making noise, so I swapped all the tubes and it still didn't work. Then I noticed a black ring in the bottom of a couple tubes. a surprise for me was how great the muff overdrive sounds. I have had it for years and decided to throw it in front of the fish, sounded fantastic.

I have a cali mod that Mike did. The amp is a metro 50 watt plexi I put together and sent to Mike for the mod. It sounds great and was done before he started offering all the various options.

my favorite speaker. people have been hating on them forever.
