I felt the same way. And I think that's exactly why I didn't pull the trigger on this album til now. Felt underwhelming. I don't know if the audio is just skewerd in the video or what, but the album is viscious. Best from them in a while in my opinion.

The intro had me fearing that we're looking at a Critical Acclaim repeat, then my hopes sunk even further when Syn busted out the basic pentatonic tap that he demonstrated years back as a point to ridicule lazy unoriginal guitar players.
