The Ultra 120+ is a great choice. I got mine used on HCAF for $280 shipped a few years back. Currently, it's my backup when I am gigging. It's good to know I have a nice sounding, reliable head should my DSL go down. Can't go wrong with the Ultra+ (except the footswitch) :thumbsup:
Mounting to a stud won't be a problem and none of my guitars have nitro finishes. Also, I live near Chicago, so earthquakes are something I hopefully don't have to worry about, although we had a very minor one last year or the year before :confused:

I recently picked up a Tung Sol RI and a Penta Labs 12ax7-M for my Pro Reverb. I am very happy with the Tung Sol. I put it in V1 and I was very impressed. Just sounds "right". The Penta on the other hand was very thin and lifeless. Kinda disappointing, but you never know until you try.

I had the same experience. I had my LE on Craigslist for a while at $200 (bought it new for $400) and didn't get a single inquiry. I ended up trading it in for $125 :doh:
